Sherdean Rhule-Rheaume has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sherdean started their career in 2006 as a Graphic Designer/Print Marketing Manager at Luxury Cruise - American Express, where they were responsible for designing and producing all cruise division direct mail, print, marketing, and sales promotions. Sherdean then joined Levenger Company as an Assistant Art Director, supporting senior and creative art directors with conceptual development and the execution of catalog page layouts. Sherdean also worked directly with copywriters and proofreaders to ensure accuracy and consistency.
In 2008, Sherdean became a Regional Graphic Designer USA at Camper & Nicholsons, where they oversaw and designed all U.S. print marketing and electronic materials. Their role also involved traveling overseas to assist with yacht shows and corporate photo shoots, as well as assisting the Art Director with company branding and the development of corporate yacht marketing materials.
From 2008 to 2009, Sherdean worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Florida Atlantic University, teaching undergraduate students Graphic Design and providing guidance on principles of design and layout composition. Sherdean then moved on to Nova Southeastern University, where they continued to work as an Adjunct Instructor, teaching Graphic Design 1 and Graphic Design 2 courses while creating lesson plans and advising students.
In 2013, Sherdean joined Cruise Planners Travel Agency as a Senior Graphic Designer, a role they held until 2021. During their time there, they were responsible for creating various graphics and designs.
Sherdean also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Point-of-Care Partners, where they primarily assisted with creating illustrations for electronic health records (EHRs) and designed PowerPoint presentations, brochures, infographics, emails, banner ads, web designs, and digital guide illustrations. Sherdean held this position from 2015 to 2021.
In 2021, Sherdean started working at Tonic3 as a Senior Digital Designer for Citibank projects.
Throughout their career, Sherdean has demonstrated their expertise in graphic design, illustration, layout composition, and design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Sherdean Rhule-Rheaume has a diverse education history focused on design. Sherdean started their academic journey at the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1995, where they pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design. After completing their degree, they transferred to Florida Atlantic University and obtained a Bachelor's degree (BFA) in Graphic Design from 1998 to 2001. Sherdean further expanded their knowledge and skills in this field by pursuing a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Graphic Design from Florida Atlantic University between 2002 and 2005.
