Karla Lamesic currently serves as a Project Manager and Research Associate at the Institute of Insurance Economics since September 2024, and as a Project- and Product Manager at TONI Digital, focusing on claims process innovation and risk carrier management since September 2023. Additionally, Karla worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant in Environmental and Climate Economics at SIAW-HSG | Universität St. Gallen from September 2023 to February 2024, and previously held roles as a Junior Environmental Specialist and a Working Student in Sustainability and Quality at Accelleron from March 2022 to July 2023. Educational qualifications include ongoing PhD studies in Finance at the University of St. Gallen (September 2024 - Present), a Master's degree in Resource Economics and Sustainable Development from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna (September 2021 - September 2023), and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Zurich (September 2017 - June 2021), complemented by a Summer School experience at Oriel College, Oxford in 2019, and a Matura from Realgymnasium Rämibühl with a focus on Chemistry and Music.
