Patrick W. has over 19 years of experience in technical and leadership roles. Patrick is the Co-founder & CTO of Tongo since February 2021. Before this, they were the CTO of a company in stealth mode from February 2018 until January 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of CTO at KW 54 INC for over 6 years, where they established a C2C startup and directed cross-functional teams in product development and enterprise applications. Patrick was also the CTO at Virtual Solution AG for a year and a half, where they directed cross-functional teams in product development and introduced new mobile solutions for employees. Patrick W. launched SmartBricks GmbH in 2002 as the Managing Director and CTO, where they consulted clients on the monetization of digital products and services in emerging and mature markets across 60 countries.

Patrick W. received their Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Business School Erlangen in 1994. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in November 2018, Cybersecurity with Cloud Computing and Learning Cloud Computing: Core Concepts from LinkedIn in January 2018 and October 2017 respectively, and GxP Silver from Novartis in February 2008.
