Thomas Ørting Jørgensen currently serves as Senior Director of Trade Management Africa at Hapag-Lloyd AG since March 2023 and has been a member of the City Council in Tønder Kommune since January 2018, where responsibilities include chairing the Committee on Climate, Growth and Development and serving on the Committee on Finance. With extensive experience in the transport and logistics sectors, Thomas Ørting Jørgensen has held significant leadership positions, including Commission Member for the Danish-German Transport Commission and Chair of the Board at Tønder Forsyning. Previous roles include Vice President at Danfoss and Executive Vice President & COO at Höegh Autoliners AS.
