Jesper Grundtvig is an experienced strategic urban planner currently serving as a Strategisk byplanlægger at Tønder Kommune since August 2020, following a series of roles focused on urban planning across various municipalities. Previous positions include Byplanlægger in Kalundborg Kommune, where Jesper acquired practical knowledge in local planning, and Næstved Kommune, where two local plans were developed. Notable project management experience includes leading patient safety programs in both Region Sjælland and Lolland Kommune, and coordinating cross-border initiatives with Femern Belt Development. Jesper holds a Master of Strategic Urban Planning from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and has a background in geography and political science from the University of Copenhagen and Roskilde University.
