Chris Gkikas is a skilled Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience in developing and implementing advanced models. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Tomoro since September 2024, Chris previously worked at Tarabut from February 2022 to September 2024, focusing on Large and Small Language Models, classification, and Named Entity Recognition. As the fourth Machine Learning Engineer at Vector.ai, Chris significantly contributed to raising $15M in Series A funding by delivering effective ML systems in a fast-paced environment. Earlier roles include Research and Development Engineer at Liopa, where notable achievements included developing an audio-visual speech recognition model and numerous speech-related algorithms. Chris has also gained experience as a Cyber Security Analyst at Telephonaki and as a Software Engineer at Taxaki, underscoring a well-rounded technical background.
