Shazwany Zaki has a diverse work experience in various creative roles. In 2011, they worked as a Design Assistant for Hussein Chalayan, assisting with shoe making and collection-related tasks. In 2008, they worked as a Junior Stylist for Envy Magazine, where they contributed to editorial shoots and coordinated events. During the same year, they also worked as a Freelance Designer for a transportation company and an airline in Malaysia. From 2018 to 2022, they served as the Head of Creative for a confidential company, leading and managing creative initiatives and developing visual identities for the brand. Since 2014, they have been the Founder & Head Designer of their own website, www.shazwanyzaki.com. Currently, they are the Creative Director at Tomei Consolidated Bhd, starting in 2022.

Shazwany Zaki pursued their education in the field of Fashion/Apparel Design. From 2006 to 2007, they attended CENFAD in Malaysia, where they earned a Diploma. Later, from 2009 to 2013, Shazwany studied at the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, completing their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design.
