Lead Lab Technician at Tolosa Winery

Cynthia Sanchez is a skilled professional with a strong background in both laboratory and mentoring roles. Currently serving as a Peer Assistant Learning/Mentor at ATSU College of Graduate Health Studies since October 2022, Cynthia previously held the position of Lead Lab Technician at Tolosa Winery, overseeing the quality control of wine through various analytical techniques since September 2014. Experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at UCSB involved analyzing the release of nanoparticles. Cynthia also contributed to mental health initiatives at UC Santa Barbara as a Mental Health Peer and a Stress Management Peer, facilitating workshops and events aimed at promoting mental well-being. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Physician Assistant from A.T. Still University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from UC Santa Barbara.
