Sergey Tilga has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Sergey joined Yandex in 2017 and held multiple roles, including Machine Learning Engineer, Machine Learning Team Lead, and Head of Core Machine Learning for Yandex Go. Sergey also served as the Head of Data Science for both Yango and Kicksharing at Yandex. In 2022, Sergey joined Toloka as the Head of Platform Efficiency. In addition to their industry experience, they worked as a Research Scientist at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT, Phystech) and served as a Teaching Assistant at the Yandex School of Data Analysis in 2017.

Sergey Tilga pursued their education at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 2012 to 2018, earning a Master's degree in Theoretical and Applied Mathematics. Additionally, they also attended the Yandex School of Data Analysis from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a second Master's degree in Machine Learning and Data Science.
