Stephen Sarrazin is an established academic and consultant with extensive experience in film, television, and contemporary art. Currently serving as a Visiting Lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts since April 2017 and as a co-editor in chief of Mondes du Cinéma since September 2013, Stephen has also held a longstanding position as a Lecturer at Université Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis since 1989. Between 2001 and 2007, Stephen worked as a Visiting Professor at various Japanese universities, including Waseda and Kogakuin University. Consulting roles include advising on Japanese film export strategies for companies such as Kadokawa Shoten, Tohokushinsha, and GAGA Communications from 2001 to 2005. With a background in video art and new media education, Stephen has also taught at ESEC and the École Supérieure des Beaux Arts de Nîmes, and has curated video programs for Videochroniques. Academic credentials include a Master's degree from Université Paris III and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University Montreal.
