Paulina Ramirez, PhD has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Paulina began their career as a Research Assistant at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 2014. Paulina then moved on to the University of Victoria, where they worked as a Communications and Research Manager, focusing on Indigenous youth mental health. At UC Santa Barbara, Paulina held multiple roles, including Virtual Learning Manager, Researcher, Teaching Assistant/Associate, DEI Programs Manager/Resident Assistant, and Communications Manager for the Graduate Students Association. In these positions, they gained experience in remote instruction, managing research projects, curriculum development, conflict mediation, event organization, and communication management. Their most recent role was as a Sales Account Executive at Grad Guru, where they managed leads, qualified potential customers, and utilized CRM software for sales activities. Currently, Paulina is working as a Sales Development Representative at Toggl.

Paulina Ramirez, PhD, has a diverse educational background in the field of Ethnic Studies. Paulina obtained their Bachelor's degree in Social Psychology from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 2014. In the same year, they also completed a diploma in "Retos de los feminismos en América Latina" from the same university.

Later on, in 2014, Paulina pursued a specialization in "Migración Internacional" from El Colegio de la Frontera Norte, A.C. Additionally, in 2017, they completed another specialization in "Epistemologías del Sur" from the Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales (CLACSO).

Paulina further enhanced their knowledge in Ethnic Studies by earning a Master of Arts (MA) degree from UC Santa Barbara in 2017. Subsequently, they continued their education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Ethnic Studies from UC Santa Barbara in 2022.

Aside from their formal education, Paulina has also acquired additional certifications. In May 2022, they completed the Code Foundations Skill Path and the Learn How to Code Course from Codecademy.
