Yuichi Tamano is an experienced professional in the field of assistive technology, currently serving as the Content Applications Development Manager at Tobii Dynavox since June 2008, where leadership includes managing a team of developers to create interactive digital content for assistive technology software. Prior roles include Senior Content Developer at Tobii Dynavox, where Yuichi led the development of special education software, and Assistive Technology Consultant at Tamano Consulting, addressing the needs of various clients, including school districts and individuals with disabilities. Earlier experience includes roles as a Rehabilitation Technologist and Rehabilitation Engineer at Helen Hayes Hospital and United Cerebral Palsy Association, respectively, as well as evaluating wheelchair needs at the University of Michigan Wheelchair Seating Services. Yuichi holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Rehabilitation Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
