Sherrie Stuessy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and educational institutions. Starting in 1987, they worked as a Business & Information Technology Instructor, Mentor Coordinator, and School-to-Career Coordinator at the School District of Belleville until 2014. During that time, they also served as a Dual Credit Instructor at Madison Area Technical College from 2010 to 2014.
From 1994 to 1996, Sherrie served as the Finance Youth Apprenticeship Coordinator at Dane County School-to-Work. In 2001, they worked as a Staff Development Instructor at Viterbo University.
Sherrie worked as a Certified Online Instructor at Cardinal Stritch University from 2009 to 2013, and also served as a Certified Online Instructor at Viterbo University from 2012 to 2014. Sherrie also worked as a Wisconsin CIW Teacher Institute Instructor - Pilot Program at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction from 2006 to 2007.
From 2014 to 2019, Sherrie worked as an Experiential Learning Coordinator at the Madison Metropolitan School District, where they supported student programming and developed community partnerships.
Currently, Sherrie holds the position of Director of Marketing and Business Support at To The Rescue, a PRK Williams Company. In this role, they research and designs systems and structures to support the employee and client experience through the use of technology and digital and print media, while aligning with the company's business plan.
Sherrie Stuessy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, which they obtained from 1984 to 1987. Sherrie continued their education at the same university and completed a Master of Science degree in Business Education from 1991 to 1995.
Additionally, Sherrie Stuessy pursued further education at Cardinal Stritch University and obtained an Online Teaching Certification in 2010. Sherrie also attended Plymouth State University, where they studied Online-Extended Teaching & Web 2.0 Collaborative Instruction in 2008.
