Rebecca Dreyfus

Director, Special Education at TNTP

Rebecca Dreyfus has a diverse work experience in the field of education. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Resource Specialist Teacher at Walnut Grove Elementary School. Rebecca then moved on to Aspire Public Schools, where they served as an Education Specialist from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they took up the role of Learning Specialist at Prospect Sierra School and concurrently co-founded ALIVE Students, where they served as the Director of Developmental Learning. Rebecca also worked as an SDC Teacher at Elmhurst United Middle School from 2021 to 2022. Most recently, they joined TNTP in 2022 as the Director of Special Education. Throughout their career, they have also undertaken various roles at Raskob Learning Center and UCLA Linguistics Laboratory.

Rebecca Dreyfus holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Education Policy and Leadership from American University, which they completed from 2023 to 2026. Prior to that, they earned a Master's Degree in Special Education and Teaching from the University of San Francisco from 2015 to 2017. Rebecca obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics from UCLA, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained a certification in "Managing Projects with Microsoft Teams" from LinkedIn in 2022.
