Metta Morton has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Metta started their career as a Long-Term Team Member at Witness for Peace, where they led programs to educate about the effects of U.S economic policy and corporate practices. Following that, they worked as a Bilingual Union Organizer at UNITE! before joining Switchboard of Miami as a Resource Coordinator. Metta then transitioned to teaching and worked as a High School Social Studies Teacher at Union School. Metta then moved into the field of education administration and held various roles at TNTP, including Director of Operations for NYC Teaching Fellows and Vice President of Human Capital. In their most recent position at TNTP, they served as the Managing Partner of People Operations. Throughout their career, Metta has demonstrated a strong commitment to social activism and education.
Metta Morton obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Latin American Studies from Carleton College in the years 1989 to 1993. Additionally, Metta has a Certificate in OD Consulting from the Institute for Organization Development.
