Latoria Akins-Jackson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in educational program operations and community engagement. Currently serving as the Senior Program Operations Manager for The New Teacher Project since April 2012, Latoria focuses on addressing educational inequality by ensuring quality teaching in underserved areas. Previous roles include On-Site Supervisor at Manpower Inc., Development Analyst at Platform Learning, and Community Schools Coordinator at Chicago Communities In Schools. Latoria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa, earned between 1993 and 1998.
