Marloes Joosen is a seasoned Science & Technology consultant specializing in Defence, Safety, and Security at TNO since October 1998. With extensive experience in coordinating knowledge plans for the Ministry of Defence, Marloes also oversees Defence-related programs for basic research and PhD students. Previous roles include Deputy Research Manager in Explosions, Ballistics, and Protection, and Senior Scientist/Project Manager in CBRN Protection, focusing on toxicology and countermeasures. Academic credentials include a PhD in Neuroscience from Vrije Universiteit, a Postgraduate Education in Toxicology, and a BSc in Medical Biology. Additionally, Marloes briefly served as a Visiting Scientist at Defence Research and Development Canada, fostering collaboration between labs.
