Marjan Akkermans is a legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property, licensing, and public-private partnerships. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at TNO since March 2020, Marjan previously held the position of Jurist publiek-private samenwerking at ZonMw from April 2015 to March 2020. Prior roles include Legal Officer voor publiek-private samenwerking, intellectuele eigendom en licenties at Top Institute Pharma from July 2009 to March 2015, and Jurist intellectuele eigendom en licenties at Octrooibureau Assenpatent BV in two separate tenures from September 2004 to November 2010 and February 1998 to July 2001. Marjan Akkermans earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Utrecht University between 1983 and 1988.
