Eleni Charoniti is a Mobility Scientist at TNO since May 2019, with previous experience as a Mobility Advisor at APPM from November 2018 to April 2019, and as a PhD Candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology from November 2013 to April 2019, where research focused on individuals' route choice behavior under uncertainty and the impact of contextual factors on decision-making. This research included the development of advanced discrete choice modeling approaches and conducting web-based stated choice experiments. Prior to these roles, Charoniti completed a traineeship at the Athens Traffic Management Centre, gaining skills in Vissim microsimulation software and traffic data analysis. Educational qualifications include a degree from the National Technical University of Athens and participation in the NETHUR and TRAIL Research School programs.
