Richard Sumilang is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in developing and managing web-based applications across various platforms. Currently a Staff Software Engineer at TMZ since April 2014, Richard has successfully implemented server management solutions using OpsCode Chef Cookbooks and created virtual machine environments for web developers. Prior to TMZ, Richard contributed to Nickelodeon as a Software Engineer, enhancing features for Neopets.com, and served as a Senior Software Developer at MTV Networks, providing site support for multiple high-profile websites. Earlier roles include Senior Software Developer at Bizefx Technologies, where Richard designed asset management software, and IT Manager at ExexDirect LLC, developing CRM solutions and content management systems.
