Michael Rawlings is an accomplished professional in the field of materials science and engineering, currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer at The Data Career Academy since January 2020 and as Science & Engineering Lead at The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society since September 2018. Previous experience includes a role as an AAAS Fellow at the National Science Foundation, a postdoctoral researcher at Northwestern University, and a technical consultant for SiNode Systems. Michael Rawlings also founded and presided over the Technical Outreach for Community Help Program at Atlanta University Center. With a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University, along with additional degrees in the same discipline and Applied Physics, Michael Rawlings has a strong academic and professional foundation in the materials field.
