Shatakshi Kumar has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Shatakshi most recently worked as an Associate Designer - Category and Growth at TMRW House of Brands. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Fashion Designer for various agencies and direct clients from 2019 to 2023. Shatakshi also served as a Deputy Manager - Design at Reliance Retail from 2018 to 2019, and as an Assistant Manager at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. from 2017 to 2018. Before that, they worked at Arvind Fashion Brands Limited as a Senior Executive Designer and Design Executive, where they specialized in womenswear design and was responsible for research, conceptualization, and collection development across multiple seasons. Shatakshi also worked as a Design Intern at Arvind Lifestyle Brands Limited.

Shatakshi Kumar began their education at Mount Assisi School, where they completed their 10th grade in the year 2008. Shatakshi then moved on to St. Joseph's School, where they pursued their 12th grade and completed it in 2010 with a focus on science. Afterward, Shatakshi attended the National Institute of Fashion Technology from 2011 to 2015. There, they obtained their Bachelor of Design degree with a specialization in Fashion/Apparel Design.
