Phillip Sugarman

Director, Retail Relations at TLK Fusion

Phillip Sugarman has extensive work experience in various roles within the fields of public relations, marketing, and journalism. Phillip currently holds the title of Vice President of Retail Strategy & Development at TLK Fusion Inc., where they are responsible for implementing retail growth strategies. Prior to this, they worked as a Retail Growth Manager at the same company.

Before joining TLK Fusion Inc., Phillip worked at Pink Shark PR as a Publicist. In this role, they successfully developed and wrote pitches, secured media placements, and effectively managed client expectations.

Phillip also served as a Product Marketing and Sales Coordinator at Ilullian Group, where they developed product messaging, created sales tools, and gained insight into customer use of current products through interviews and surveys.

Their experience in public relations includes serving as the Director of Public Relations at TimerCap LLC, where they managed email marketing, developed strategic plans, and executed communication initiatives. Phillip also held the position of Vice President of Investor Relations at Investor Relations Partners, where they implemented communication strategies, developed online and social media strategies, and managed press releases and content creation.

Phillip's earlier work experience includes roles as a General Merchandiser at Bed Bath and Beyond Purch Dept, a Reporter at CSUN Matador News, a News Anchor and Reporter at KCSN News, and a Managing Editor at Moorpark College Newspaper.

Throughout their career, Phillip has demonstrated strong communication skills, the ability to deliver work on tight deadlines, and a clear understanding of various media platforms.

Phillip Sugarman obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from California State University, Northridge, from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Journalism from Moorpark College, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Phillip also holds a High School Diploma from Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies. In addition to their formal education, they have a certification in Foundation Diploma in Social Media Marketing and Online Reputation Management from Shaw Academy.
