Ruben Calzacorta has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. In 2010, they were an Assistant Brand Manager at Nestlé, where they assisted in the creation and execution of the marketing mix for two new products launches, collaborated in various images modifications, and created weekly and monthly reports for brand managers with Nielsen. In 2011, they worked as a Junior Project Analyst at GeoHidra Consultores C.A., where they worked in a high-performance team and brought and executed two new projects. In 2013, they founded and managed a corporate catering company, Servicios Alinco C.A., where they developed the marketing and sales plan, corporate image and branding strategy, and managed front-end relationships with clients as a KAM. In 2016, they worked at BURGER KING EMEA & APAC as a Senior Business Analyst and Senior Analyst Business Development, where they supported and trained two analysts, worked with JVs and franchisees from South and Central EMEA Divisions on all franchisee-facing finance and accounting, created and implemented material, routines, and Excel tools for the Tim Hortons International Finance team, and mitigated and recovered bad debt together with the field and legal team. Finally, in 2018, Ruben became self-employed as a Business Analysis Freelance, working in different projects with small restaurant groups to set up processes to enable growth, building financial KPIs and tools to track and improve them, and building online tools to track in-restaurant operations and customer satisfaction. In 2020, they began working as a Full Stack Web Developer at tl;dv, where they are creating a new meeting culture of lean online video calls, combining the best of live meetings and asynchronous communications.

Ruben Calzacorta completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Universidad Metropolitana (VE) between 2007 and 2012. Ruben then went on to pursue an International MBA from IE Business School between 2014 and 2015. Recently, they completed a Full Stack Web Development program from Ironhack in 2020, specializing in IT and computer programming.
