Beatriz A. Gonzalez Torre

Global Head Of R&d Project Management at TK Elevator

Beatriz A. Gonzalez Torre has extensive experience in project management and research and development (R&D) roles. Beatriz A. currently serves as the Global Head of R&D Project Management at TK Elevator since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Global Manager R&D Project Management Office (PMO), Training and Processes at TK Elevator from November 2012 to February 2022. In this role, they supported R&D transformation projects, drove global engineering training programs and processes, and managed global R&D portfolio management and communication.

Before joining TK Elevator, Beatriz held various roles at the company, including Global Manager R&D Processes for Business Unit Escalator/Passenger Boarding Bridges from June 2007 to November 2012 and CAD/ PDM/ PLM Project leader from June 2005 to June 2007. Beatriz A. also served as a Technical Processes and Tools Engineer + PDM implementation leader from November 2001 to June 2005, where they developed tools to automate processes, implemented a PDM system, and provided system support.

In addition to their work at TK Elevator, Beatriz also worked as a Trainer and Researcher at Universidad de Oviedo since November 2000. Beatriz A. has taught various subjects related to project management, entrepreneurship, business development, and more. Beatriz A. has contributed to master degrees and taught courses alongside their work at TK Elevator, showcasing their dedication to both academia and industry.

Beatriz A. Gonzalez Torre has a strong educational background. Beatriz A. obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Oviedo in 2000. Beatriz A. further pursued their education and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same university in 2005. Beatriz has also received additional certifications to enhance their skill set. Beatriz A. obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from thyssenkrupp Academy in 2013 and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2012.
