Evan Hinkel, P.E.

Vice President of Completions and Facilities at Titus Oil & Gas

Evan Hinkel, P.E. has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. In 2007 and 2008, they interned at Chevron as a Field Production Engineering Intern and Offshore Drilling and Completions Engineering Intern, respectively. After completing their undergraduate degree, Evan worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin Center for Petroleum Engineering Research from 2010 to 2011.

In 2011, Evan joined Oxy and held several positions, including Well Optimization Specialist, Production/Completions Engineer, and Lead Completions Engineer. Evan was responsible for designing, executing, and evaluating completion designs for vertical and horizontal wells in the Permian Texas Delaware Basin. Evan also worked on projects to improve well costs and reduce completion time. Evan was a key contributor in developing standard completion programs and equipment standards for improved communication and handover.

From 2016 to 2018, Evan served as a Program Manager for Integrated Planning at Oxy. Evan developed a project management integration model, managed a team of contract specialists and project managers, and created and monitored demand plans for well enhancement and construction projects. Evan also conducted evaluations of opportunities for cost and time reduction in vendor selection and logistics optimization.

Most recently, Evan joined Titus Oil & Gas in 2019 as the Vice President of Completions and Facilities.

Evan Hinkel, P.E. obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2011. Evan also holds a certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers, which they obtained in March 2019.
