Lily Cabatu Weiss serves as the Executive Director of the Dallas Arts District, a role held since April 2016, and was previously the Artistic Director and Chair of the Dance Department at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing & Visual Arts, where the program is recognized as a national model. In addition to these positions, Lily holds a Board of Directors membership for both the Booker T. Washington HSPVA Advisory Board and TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND, and has served as Chair Emeritus of the Dance Department at Booker T. Washington since June 2014. With a teaching background at Southern Methodist University from 1990 to 2014, as well as extensive experience as a freelance artist and dance educator since 1978, Lily holds a Master’s degree in Dance and Related Arts from Texas Woman's University.
