Previously, John held the role of Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer at Sesen Bio for a brief period in 2021, during which the company faced a Complete Response Letter from the FDA. John's experience includes serving as Chief Compliance Officer at TherapeuticsMD, Vice President and Head of Global Compliance at Orexigen Therapeutics, and Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer at Shanghai MicroPort Medical (Group) Co., Ltd. John began their career in compliance at Wright Medical Technology and has also worked at King Pharmaceuticals, Ernst & Young, Solvay Pharmaceuticals, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. John Knighton earned a Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Villanova University.
