Marta Cavero Tomas is an accomplished professional in the field of intellectual property and contracts, currently serving as Vice President at Tisento Therapeutics since August 2023. Prior to this role, Marta held various positions at Cyclerion from April 2019, including Senior Director and Director, overseeing intellectual property. Marta's experience also includes significant roles at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals and Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities ranged from Senior Patent Agent to Patent Agent. Earlier in the career, Marta worked as a Senior Scientist in medicinal chemistry at AstraZeneca and as a Post-doctoral Fellow at both Harvard Medical School and Boston College. Marta Cavero Tomas holds a PhD in organic chemistry from UCL, an MSc in organic synthesis from Universitat de Barcelona, and a BSc in Organic Chemistry from the same institution.
