Matthew Abela has extensive experience in internal auditing and risk management, currently serving in the Group Internal Audit and Risk Management role at Tipico since February 2019. Prior to this, Matthew held positions as Group Internal Auditor at MRG Group and Internal Auditor at Credorax. Matthew began a career in risk management as a Supervisor at Grant Thornton Malta and gained foundational experience as an Audit Associate at PwC Malta. Matthew holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Strategic Planning, obtained with Distinction from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, and a Master’s Degree from ACCA.
