Wesley J. Church has had a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Wesley J. started their career in 2006 as a Support Technician II / Civil Engineering Intern at Michael Baker Corporation, where they worked until 2010. In 2010, they joined Hatch Mott MacDonald as a Civil Engineering Intern for a summer. Wesley J. then worked at Potesta & Associates, Inc. as an Engineer I from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, they joined EarthRes Group, Inc. as a Staff Engineer, and in 2015, they moved to R. Joe Harris & Associates, Inc. as a Project Manager until 2017. Currently, they are working at Timmons Group, where they started as a Project Engineer III in 2017, progressed to Senior Project Engineer in 2021, and is currently serving as a Project Manager.

Wesley J. Church completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at West Virginia University Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2011. Wesley J. obtained an ABET Accredited qualification in this field of study. Additionally, Wesley has a certification as an Engineering Intern (FE) from the NCEES, although the month and year of the certification were not specified.
