Timothy Burton has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Timothy started their career as an intern at Schnabel Engineering in 2019, where they worked until 2020. In 2020, they also interned at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company. From 2020 to 2022, they served as a Staff Engineer at Schnabel Engineering. Currently, Timothy is working at Timmons Group as a Project Engineer, starting in May 2022. Alongside their engineering roles, they also gained experience in the aquatics industry, working as a Lifeguard, Head Lifeguard, and eventually as an Aquatics Manager at Burkwood Swim and Racquet from 2014 to 2019.

Timothy Burton attended Virginia Tech from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. In February 2021, they obtained an "Engineer In Training" certification from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. Additionally, in January 2016, Timothy obtained a certification in First Aid/CPR and AED from the Red Cross.
