Carie Goodknight has a diverse work experience, primarily in the finance and operations field. Carie started their career at Times Citizen Communications, Inc. in 2005 as an Accountant, where they were responsible for various financial tasks such as bank reconciliations, managing excel spreadsheets, and filing taxes. In 2007, they were promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer, where they published monthly financials, prepared reports for auditing and compliance, and provided support with budgets and financials to the General Manager and directors. Carie's most recent role is as the Chief Operating Officer at Times Citizen Communications, starting in November 2021.

Carie Goodknight obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Accounting from Buena Vista University, which they completed between 1996 and 1998. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Information Processing Specialist with a medical emphasis from Ellsworth Community College, from 1994 to 1995.
