Roger Xiberras has a diverse work experience in the field of broadcast engineering and production. Roger started as a Sales Assistant at Primark Stores Limited in 2012. In 2015, they worked as a Freelance Photographer for Action Filming, specializing in event photography and film. Roger also had various roles at the BBC, including camera operator, vision mixer, directing, and lighting, gained through their experience at Bucks New University as a film and television production student.
In 2016, Roger co-founded XLR Visions, a video production company, where they collaborated with clients to create promotional videos, in-house training materials, and event coverage. Roger continued with XLR Visions until 2019.
From 2017 to the present, Roger has worked at Timeline Television as a Broadcast Vision Engineer. In this role, they gained technical expertise in broadcast engineering and successfully implemented SMPTE 2110 and SMPTE 2022 workflows for remote productions such as Dubai Meydan Horse Racing Carnival, Women's Super League, and Formula E. Roger also acquired in-depth knowledge of systems used by Timeline, such as EVS Cerebrum and Grass Valley Vision Mixers.
In addition to their main roles, Roger had a brief stint as an RF Assistant at CTV / PGA in 2017 and completed a week-long work experience as a Tech Assistant at CTV Outside Broadcasts Ltd. in 2017.

Roger Xiberras completed their education at Buckinghamshire New University from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Directing, Producing, Camera-Op, and Editing. Prior to that, they attended Crawley College from 2012 to 2014, where they completed a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production. Additionally, they obtained a Creative Media Level 3 certification from BTEC in September 2012.
