Sam Hurwitz is an experienced artistic producer and educator currently serving as Artistic Producer and Company Member at Facility Theatre since September 2022, where responsibilities include managing box office operations, front of house staff, and social media marketing, as well as serving as the Assistant Director for the production "Right Now" by Catherine-Anne Toupin. Sam also works as an Audience Services Assistant at TimeLine Theatre Company and has previously held roles as a long-term substitute teacher in special education at Cleveland Elementary through Chicago Public Schools, as well as a Team Lead at Native Foods for seven years. Sam has additional experience as an English Second Language Instructor at Amslink and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Columbia College Chicago.
