Diogo Ferreira is a software engineer with a comprehensive background in developing and optimizing platforms and services across various industries. Currently at Timefold, Diogo is focused on creating a platform-as-a-service for scheduling optimization tasks using Java and the Quarkus framework, in conjunction with Kubernetes and cloud providers. Previous experience includes working at Blip.pt, where Diogo contributed to building event-driven microservices for the Flutter Entertainment Group, and at Talkdesk, where data-driven services were developed using Java and Apache Camel. Diogo's earlier roles involved research at Instituto de Telecomunicações, focusing on machine learning for 5G technology and intelligence mechanisms in network monitoring. Diogo holds an Integrated Master Degree in Computer and Telematics Engineering from Universidade de Aveiro.
