Flora Russell

Sr Customer Operations Manager at Tilt

Flora Russell has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a STEM Ambassador Intern at The Science Museum of Virginia in 2014. Flora then became a Coordinator/Mentor for the STEM Ambassador Program, where they grew programs and facilitated communications between STEM ambassadors and program leaders. In 2016, they worked as an Interim Student Services Coordinator at VCU da Vinci Center, where they grew programs through recruiting events and supported students in planning their certificate programs.

In 2017, Flora joined Trilogy Mentors as a Mentor Coordinator, where they managed talent acquisition strategy and tripled the available pool of contracted workers. Flora then transitioned to the role of Marketing Manager, where they cultivated client relationships and managed internal and external business communications. Later, they became a Customer Success Manager and led clients to success through onboarding, implementation, and product adoption.

In 2020, Flora joined Pearl as a Senior Operations Manager, where they researched, planned, and executed strategic application of business software. Flora also implemented processes and procedures to support meaningful customer experiences. Currently, Flora is working at Tilt as a Customer Success Operations Manager, where they drive business growth and scale by implementing, improving, and managing systems, processes, and resources within the Customer Success Department. Flora'sresponsibilities include systems implementation, project management, data strategy, and building and managing the customer-facing help center.

Flora Russell attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they attended Tidewater Community College and earned an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General. In terms of additional certifications, Flora Russell obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in November 2020.
