Audrey Hicks has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Audrey is currently working as a Mentor at the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business and as a Board Member at the RECREATIONAL BOATING ASSOCIATION OF WASHINGTON. In 2014, Audrey founded and became the Principal of Wild Horse Consulting, where they lead executive peer groups. Audrey also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Tiller. Prior to that, Audrey served as an Advisory Board Member at Kitsbow and as the CFO at Pioneer Human Services, a social enterprise non-profit organization. Audrey was also a Board Trustee at Tyee Yacht Club, leading the organization as Board Chair and overseeing strategic planning and financial management. Audrey's earlier experience includes roles as CFO and COO at MiiR Inc., as well as a Board Member and Treasurer at Camber Outdoors (formerly OIWC). Audrey has also been a Member of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Audrey has demonstrated their expertise in finance, leadership, strategic planning, and board governance throughout their career.
Audrey Hicks began their education in 1981 at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they pursued studies in Computer Science and Classics. However, they did not complete their degree and left the university in 1983. In 1989, Audrey attended The University of Texas at Arlington, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1990. After completing their degree, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and obtained the certification from the Washington Society of CPAs in September 1992. Additionally, Audrey has recently obtained a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from eCornell in March 2021.
