Bruce Martin is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at TileDB since April 2024, Bruce previously held prominent roles at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative from January 2017 to April 2024, where responsibilities included Distinguished Engineer and Director of Engineering. Bruce has a background as CTO at CollegeMojo and held various leadership positions at Complete Genomics, including SVP of Product Development and VP of Software, contributing to human genome sequencing platforms. Additionally, Bruce served as VP of Product Strategy at PSS Systems, CTO at Openwave, and held engineering roles at Sun Microsystems and NeXT Computer. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
