Yamilah A. is a seasoned Product Designer currently working at TikTok since March 2024, focusing on TikTok stories. Prior experience includes roles at Instagram, where Yamilah contributed to IG stories from October 2022 to November 2023, and at Twitter from August 2021 to September 2022, where work centered on Twitter Blue and Twitter Communities. Yamilah also held a position at Abstract in early 2021, designing a tool for version control of Sketch files, and contributed at thoughtbot from August 2018 to April 2020, assisting various companies in product development and team building. Earlier experience includes designing for LevelUp, Prolific Works, and Intralinks, with a solid foundation in architectural design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design & Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
