Missy Shelley is an experienced actuary currently serving as a Senior Actuary at Howden Re since March 2023. Prior to this role, Missy held the position of SVP, Chief Actuary at Weston Insurance from July 2021 to October 2022, and served as VP, Reinsurance Pricing Actuary at Ariel Re, part of Argo Group, from August 2017 to July 2021. Missy has a strong background in actuarial roles, having also been VP at Federated National Insurance Company, Ariel Re, and Florida Farm Bureau Insurance, as well as an Actuary at USAA. Missy's educational background includes an MBA in Finance and an M.S. in Biotechnology from the University of Florida, along with a B.S. in Agriculture, Animal Biology from the same institution.
