Pasan Weerasinghe has over 8 years of work experience in software engineering. In 2022, they joined Tigera as a Senior Software Engineer. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at PayByPhone as a Staff Software Developer, Senior Software Developer, and Software Developer. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Co-Founder and Software Developer at ChangeJar, where they built a prototype that secured funding and shaped the product design/UX. Pasan also developed 3 client apps (Android) which processed over 10k payments. From 2014 to 2019, they were an Embedded Software Developer at Evertz, where they lead firmware development of 2 products used for large-scale AV routing in production broadcast facilities (WWE, ESPN). Pasan also developed SDKs used by HDMI products, and designed the SDK to be used as the basis of all future AV products from their team.

Pasan Weerasinghe attended The University of British Columbia from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Electrical Engineering.
