Casey Davenport has had a varied career in software engineering. In 2010, they worked as an Electrical Engineering Coop at Instrumentation Laboratory, overseeing electrical components for the first production build of ACL TOP-300 hemostasis testing system. In 2011, they worked as a Robotics Coop at QinetiQ North America. In 2012, they worked as a Software Coop at Metaswitch Networks, developing Android and iOS applications, researching and testing storage solutions for an IP multimedia subsystem core, and building prototype software defined networking solutions using the OpenFlow protocol and various open source projects. In 2013, they worked as a Software Engineer at Metaswitch Networks, implementing SDN functions using the OpenFlow protocol and developing REST APIs. In 2015, they worked as a Core Developer at Project Calico, a simple, secure, and high scale virtual open-source networking solution. Finally, in 2016, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Tigera, the inventor and maintainer of open source Calico, delivering Calico Cloud, the next-generation cloud service for Kubernetes security and observability.
Casey Davenport completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University between 2008 and 2013.
