Mamoru S. began working as a Software Engineer at TIER IV in April 2022. Prior to that, they were a Visiting Student Researcher at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from October 2020 to September 2021 as part of the JPL Visiting Student Researcher Program in the Robotics Section for the DARPA Subterranean Challenge. Mamoru also worked as a Visiting Researcher at Siemens PLM Software in September 2019. In 2020, they received the UTokyo-TOYOTA Study Abroad Scholarship in the field of Artificial Intelligence and studied at Tokyo University.

Mamoru S. completed their education from 2015 to 2022 at The University of Tokyo, where they obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) and studied in the field of EE. In addition, in December 2020, Mamoru S. earned a certification in Applied Information Technology from the Institution for Independent Information Processing Promotion.
