Shabani Samata currently serves as a curriculum coordinator at TIE, a position held since June 2012, where responsibilities include writing and reviewing syllabi for schools and Teachers Colleges, developing instructional materials, conducting training in curriculum issues, and providing consultancy services in education. Previous experience includes a teaching role at Arusha Secondary School from September 2008 to May 2012, focusing on Business subjects. Shabani's educational background includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Curriculum Design and Development from the Open University of Tanzania (2012-2013) and a Bachelor of Education in Commerce and Accounting from the University of Dar es Salaam (2005-2008).
