Kurt Rummel is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and finance. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant for Tides since June 2018, Kurt excels in providing comprehensive accounting services for fiscally sponsored projects, including grant management and financial reporting. Previously, Kurt held the position of Manager in Accounting & Finance at the United Nations Global Compact, overseeing the finance department's daily operations. Additional roles include Bookkeeper at The Garrison Institute and Freelance Full Charge Bookkeeper for various small businesses and non-profits, along with experience as Office Manager/Accounts Receivable at Down to Earth Markets. Kurt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Naropa University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from SUNY New Paltz, complemented by a Bookkeeping Certificate from Baruch College.
