Matthew Hartling has been working as a software engineer since 1998. Matthew began their career at Motorola as a Software Engineer and then moved to American Power Conversion in 2002 as a Senior Firmware Engineer. In 2006, they joined BigBand Networks as a Senior Software Engineer and then moved to Teknovus in 2008. From 2010 to 2016, they were a Principal Software Engineer at Broadcom. Matthew then joined Sumitomo Electric Lightwave in 2016 as a Principal Software Engineer and currently holds the same role at Tibit Communications, Inc. since 2018.

Matthew Hartling attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
