Damien Thirion currently serves as Head of R&D for catalysis and process additives at TIB Chemicals AG since September 2022, following a role as Innovation Leader in the same field. Prior to this, Damien worked at CYNORA from March 2017 to September 2022, where roles included Senior Scientist, R&D Scientist, and external R&D project coordinator. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at KAIST from September 2013 to August 2016, focusing on oxide and organic nanomaterials, and another postdoctoral role at Université de Cergy-Pontoise from January 2012 to August 2013. Damien began a career in research with a trainee position at Sanofi in 2007. Academic qualifications include a PhD and Master's degree in Chemistry from Université de Rennes I, along with a Bachelor's degree in the same field.
