Ian Ellis Lamptey Hulede is a seasoned electrical and telecommunications engineer with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as a Principal Wireless Systems Engineer at Tiami Networks since April 2023, Ian specializes in RF signal processing algorithm design and wireless application prototyping on SDR platforms. Previous roles include Graduate Research Assistant at Wichita State University, where Ian contributed to significant research projects supported by the US Air Force and served as a teaching assistant in electric circuits. Additional experience includes a position as Core Network Engineer at Huawei Technologies, focusing on packet and circuit core nodes, and an internship at the National Communications Authority, monitoring radio spectrum and analyzing FM station coverage. Ian holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Wichita State University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
