Dan O'Brien is an experienced educator and consultant with a robust background in mathematics education and communication within the international aid and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Thuso since August 2020, Dan holds a Distinction in an MA in Mathematics Education from the UCL Institute of Education. Previous roles include Head of Communications at Takeda, where Dan managed communications across 35 countries, and Senior Project Consultant at Carfax Projects, focusing on programming strategy in conflict-affected regions. Dan's teaching career includes positions at prominent international schools and a strong foundation in curriculum development and teacher training, supported by a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics from Goldsmiths, University of London.
